Quentin De Beukelaer

Game Designer

Quentin is a seasoned game designer, project manager and teacher.

He started his career in music video production and interactive experience design. After graduating from ENJMIN (a renowned video game school in France) in game design and producing, Quentin joined Ubisoft, as a game and economic designer, on several Assassin’s Creed games. Quentin also worked as a designer and manager on Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

In need for creative and personal freedom, Quentin is now pursuing his video game adventures as an independent game maker. He directed Narcosis, a critically acclaimed underwater walking simulator, blended with survival horror elements, which was released in 2017.


In 2020, Quentin is directing his second indie project, Decarnation, a 2D thriller game, blending horror and poetry. Expect weird minigames, disturbing symbolism and gut-wrenching narrative.

Alongside his projects, Quentin teaches game design, and mentors students in two french schools, IIM & ENJMIN.
